Job Description


  • Drive strategic initiatives to optimise cabin crew performance and shape the future of customer experience across Qantas's global networks.
  • Build strong partnerships with unions and stakeholders to align workforce strategies and cultivate a culture of safety and change management.
  • Lead key projects, enhance operational efficiency, and uphold Qantas’s values of safety, innovation, and exceptional customer service.


You’ll have -

  • Over 15 years’ experience with a strong background in management, strategy consulting, and operational leadership.
  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in business, aviation, or a related field, with a preference for qualifications in workplace health and safety or industrial relations.
  • Extensive expertise in strategic development, financial evaluation, project management, and operational workforce planning.
  • High level of resilience and proven experience in driving change management initiatives, navigating complex challenges, and maintaining performance during times of change.
  • Proven ability to identify opportunities, resolve complex issues, and develop actionable strategies to drive business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, with a commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and collaborative approaches.
  • Experience in industrial relations and developing labour strategies for large-scale workforces.
